Installation and Initial Setup

Install the free edition and get the WordPress booking form working.

Before you start

• WordPress 6.2 or later.
• PHP 7.4 or later.
• A recent backup.
• Birlo Reservations Pro deactivated.

Installation

1. Download Birlo Reservations Lite 1.1.2.
2. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin.
3. Select the ZIP file, install and activate it.
4. Complete the initial setup wizard.

Minimum configuration

1. Create the Single room type and one one-person room.
2. Create the Double room type and one two-person room.
3. Configure the standard rate, taxes, rules and emails.
4. Publish the Book and My Booking pages.
5. Add them to the website menu.
