Complete Birlo Bridge manual

Installation, connection, MCP tools, OAuth, scopes, approvals, auditing and the Bridge product family.

1. What Birlo Bridge does

Birlo Bridge connects a compatible AI client to controlled WordPress capabilities through MCP. Tools expose specific operations instead of unrestricted server access.

2. Installation

Install the Bridge plugin, confirm HTTPS and open the Bridge connection area. Check the endpoint and required permissions before connecting a client.

3. OAuth and PKCE

Use OAuth to authorize the client without sharing a WordPress administrator password. Review scopes and revoke connections that are no longer required.

4. Approvals and auditing

Sensitive operations can remain pending until explicitly approved. Audit information helps review which operations were executed.

5. Pro, Commerce and Agency

Pro adds advanced WordPress administration. Commerce adds WooCommerce operations. Agency provides multisitе inventory and management capabilities.

6. Cloud

Birlo Bridge Cloud provides a gateway for connected WordPress sites using OAuth 2.0 and PKCE.

7. Autonomy

Autonomy provides Safe, Assisted and Autonomous operating modes. Critical operations can continue to require explicit approval.

8. Troubleshooting

When an operation fails, check connection state, permissions, scopes, approvals, plugin versions and the WordPress error log before retrying.
