Getting Started
From installation to your first sales conversation in six steps.
Before you begin
You need WordPress 6.4 or newer and PHP 8.0 or newer. Pro, Commerce and Agency require an active license. AI-enabled plans also require your own API key.
1. Install the plugin
Go to Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin, select the Birlo Sales Agent ZIP, install and activate it.
2. Activete your license
Open the license section in Birlo Sales Agent, select your plan, enter the key and activate it. Lite does not require a license.
3. Connect AI
In Pro, Commerce or Agency, enter your API key in Sales Agent settings. The key stays in your WordPress installation; Birlo does not bill AI usage.
4. Configure the widget
Enable the agent, review notification email, daily AI limit and lead retention. Then test the widget in a private browser window.
5. Run a complete test
Open the widget
Start a conversation from a public page.
Create a lead
Enter test data and confirm it appears in Birlo Leads.
Check follow-up
In Pro or above, verify scoring, notification and follow-up scheduling.
Test WooCommerce
In Commerce or Agency, use the same email in a test order and confirm conversion attribution.
6. Updates
With an active paid license, new versions appear in the standard WordPress update system.
